About This Supply Planning Analyst Role in Bangalore

Join Caterpillar's Global Supply Chain team as a Supply Planning Analyst and shape the future of sustainable communities. This role involves supporting the global supply planning processes through data preparation, analytics, stakeholder coordination, and automation initiatives. You'll work closely with manufacturing facilities and planning teams to prepare and maintain the global supply plan.

This role supports key planning cycles and drives continuous improvement through analytics and digital tools. Please note, this position requires a 5-day onsite work week in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Validate and release the monthly demand plan to manufacturing facilities.
2. Consolidate production plans and prepare the global production plan.
3. Monitor and align supply-demand, identifying potential constraints.
4. Coordinate with teams to understand forecast changes and implications.

Required Skills for Supply Planning Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply or demand planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
