The Alternatives Engineering team plays a critical role in supporting this vast investment landscape by developing robust, scalable, and data-driven platforms. This team works closely with investors to create innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, automation, and decision-making capabilities across investment, fund, and client lifecycle management.
Role: Associate - Software Engineering (Investment Servicing Focus)
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of platforms that capture and manage investments across a diverse and complex set of financial products. The focus is on building low-touch, systematic, and scalable platforms capable of handling multi-billion-dollar global portfolios. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including investment professionals, traders, fund managers, and operational teams, ensuring seamless execution and asset servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
Build cutting-edge investment servicing platforms with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability.
Develop and maintain interactive web applications using frameworks like React or Angular.
Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions for investment management.
Ensure the security, performance, and maintainability of software solutions.
Who We Are Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a full-time software developer.
Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Prior experience in building interactive web applications using React or Angular.
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
Strong problem-solving mindset, sense of ownership, and ability to collaborate effectively within a global team.
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Interest in finance is a plus (but not required!).
