In this role, you’ll play a key part in implementing standards and procedures for building documentation during data center construction. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating construction drawings, specifications, and equipment information to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Regional Document Control Program Manager on documentation efforts.
- Support internal teams and vendors with documentation requests during the project lifecycle.
- Lead documentation closeout meetings with vendors, project managers, and subject matter experts.
- Analyze turnover documentation and prepare it for upload into the client’s EDMS system.
- Audit document metadata for accuracy and update when necessary.
- Set up project folders and establish documentation procedures for construction and operations.
- Review and route construction turnover documents for technical review.
- Maintain and manage documentation within the client’s EDMS and physical library.
- Utilize custom formulas and functions in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet tools for data management (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Ability to analyze and present data using tools like Data Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS/DMS).
- Strong understanding of construction documents.
Preferred:
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM 360, or other construction CAD systems.
- Electrical systems knowledge.
- Java or Google App scripting.
- Previous document control or document management experience.
