Job Overview
Position: Entry-Level Software Engineer
Department: Ecommerce Engineering
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site, 4 days per week)
As an Entry-Level Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing features for Alo Yoga’s Ecommerce platform, which powers seamless experiences for our customers across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop features as outlined in Jira stories, collaborating with Senior Engineers.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Alo Yoga’s Ecommerce systems, focusing on specific areas.
- Participate in production deployments and monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably TypeScript or Python.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as ReactJS/Redux, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Attention to detail, a passion for learning, and enthusiasm for solving challenges in e-commerce.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with design patterns, scalability, and reliability concepts.
- Experience or interest in building customer-centric technology for e-commerce.
