Job Responsibilities
Execute standard software solutions, including design, development, and troubleshooting.
Write high-quality, secure code using programming languages such as Java and Python.
Develop, code, and troubleshoot software solutions, keeping in mind upstream and downstream dependencies.
Utilize tools within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance automation and efficiency.
Apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues of basic complexity.

Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure secure and stable software development.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages.
Strong coding skills in Python (Pandas, Django), Java (Spring), SQL, MQ/Kafka.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms like Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry.
Exposure to Agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security best practices.
Basic understanding of technical disciplines such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, and mobile development.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with investment banking products such as fixed income and derivatives.
Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS.
