Role Overview

Position: Software Engineer

Location: Manyata Embassy Business Park, Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Job Type: Full-time, Individual Contributor

Experience: 3-5 years

Degree Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field


What You'll Work On

As part of the MN RAN Cloud Platform HW Department, you will:

Work on the development and maintenance of embedded software components and drivers.

Integrate and verify Cloud HW solutions alongside partners like Dell and HPE.

Expand Cloud HW and embedded SW testing from component level to E2E use cases.

Collaborate with product owners and technical leaders to design, develop, and troubleshoot embedded software.

Analyze and fix issues to ensure high-quality software.

Participate in technical studies and share your expertise with peers.


What You Need to Succeed

Technical Skills:

✔ Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming.
✔ Experience with embedded system development on Linux.
✔ Knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, and digital hardware.
✔ Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, and software development tools.
✔ Understanding of IP networks and protocols (Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, etc.).
✔ Familiarity with cloud management interfaces like IPMI, REDFISH, RESTFUL APIs.
✔ Experience with embedded SW components such as BMC, BIOS, uBoot, FPGA, PCIe controllers, and CPLD firmware.
✔ Knowledge of mobile network architectures (4G, 5G) and virtual network functions (VNFs/CNFs).

✔ Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
✔ Teamwork and collaboration skills.
✔ Self-motivated and result-oriented mindset.
✔ Openness to change and continuous learning.
✔ Strong communication skills in English.
